Opened in 1971 the Fire Museum of Maryland ranks as one of the finest fire fighting museums in the United States.  It displays fire fighting apparatus from 1806 to 1957 including over fifty rigs which are complemented by a broad range of special exhibits which include include; a working fire alarm telegraph system, badge and uniform displays, and Baltimore’s High Pressure Pumping System.  The Fire Museum also operates a museum store.  May: Open Saturdays Only June, July, August: Open Tuesday through Saturday September, October, November, December: Open Saturdays Only. Hours: 11  11am - 4pm.  Admission: Adults $7, Senior Citizens $6, Firefighters $6, Children (ages 2-12)  $4, (under 2) Free
