Dedicated to preservation of American railroading through legacy of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The B & O Railroad Museum  contains nearly 200 pieces of rail equipment housed in five historic buildings set within Mount Clare Station including the largest enclosed Roundhouse ever constructed.  The depot is the  birthplace of the B&O railroad.The museum, and associated facilities including an operating railroad line is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. Open Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.  Admission Rates: Adults - $14 Seniors (60+) - $12 Children (ages 2-12) - $8 Children (under 2 years of age) - Free
