The American Visionary Art Museum located in the Federal Hill neighborhood Baltimore, includes 32,000 square feet of exhibit space of Visionary art including a permanent collection of 4,000 pieces. Some of this work is displayed in a gallery on the main floor, which stays open for the public when new temporary exhibitions are being installed.  The works displayed by these Visionary Artists who usually are lacking in formal training, and work outside established art traditions,  are  innovative, inspirational and bold inspired by internal visions from the artists life experiences. Open Tu-Su 10am-6pm.  Admission: $11 Adults; $7 Students and seniors; $6 per person for groups of 10 or more. Children 4 and under are free.
